Thomas Martin Davis died on 22 December 2009, at age 39, LANESBORO Thomas Martin Davis, 39, of 154 Bull Hill Rd., Lanesboro, passed away surrounded by his loving family at Berkshire Medical Center following complications after surgery.

Born July 30, 1970, he was the son of Elizabeth Hoisington and Eugene Davis. He attended local schools and worked as a carpet and floor installer for most of his life. In the last five years because of his love of trucks, he obtained his commercial drivers license. He loved cats, tigers and the outdoors.

He especially enjoyed working with his hands on trucks, four wheelers or anything with an engine. He would do anything for anyone. He had a passion for cooking because he loved to eat, but he most enjoyed cooking for other people. He loved to travel and he loved his country music.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving companion, Leslie Sullivan, and his "adoptive" daughter, Monica Hines, with whom he made his home. He also leaves a twin brother, Phil Davis, of Pittsfield, his brother, Charlie Davis and his wife, Karen, of Petersburgh, N.Y.; his sister, Juanita, and her husband, Peter Colletta; his sister, Rhonda Hoisington; many cousins, nieces and nephews; his uncle, Walter Boutwell; his aunt and uncle, Alice and Richard Hall, his uncle, Hanley Palmer and Syliva Cone.

He was predeceased by his brother, Eugene.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Calling hours for Thomas M. Davis will be Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2009, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME, 40 Maplewood Ave, Pittsfield. The funeral service for Thomas will follow immediately at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor William Havens officiating. Burial will follow in The Cemetery of the Evergreens in New Lebanan, N.Y.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you send donations directly to the charity of your choice in Thomas' name.
